Yes, it has been too long.
There really hasn't been anything too exciting going on, just the usual classes at ASU, Zumba, and spending time with family and friends. Not many updates there!
But on another note, I decided to make my posts themed. I wanted to try something a little different rather than talk about my not entirely exciting life so thats how themes came up. I will most likely stick to health, fitness, things I like, but they will all have a general idea.
So starting today with motivation. Sometimes in order to get where we want to be we need a little help, a little spark. I came across some amazing motivational pictures that I swear will get you off your butt and moving. It is so important to live a healthy life and take care of yourself. That doesn't mean you can never have that favorite candy bar or meal, it just means that 5 days a week you make healthy choices. Being healthy isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle. We all know how to eat healthy but next step is to choose to. I promise that you can do it. We all can! It's all about mind strength and how badly we want it. You feel so amazing after eating healthy that going back to those bad foods actually makes you feel terrible. You train your mind and your body to want the healthy choice over the uhealthy choice. BUT don't crash diet, don't starve yourself, allow yourself a reward every now and BE healthy. It isn't hard but it's different, it's something we aren't accustomed to but our bodies understand and the results will come. Stay focused, be positive, make healthy choices, and see results.
Here are some things that help me keep going. I'm not saying lets all be perfect, trust me I have cheat days and times where it gets hard, but I will always continue to try HARD.
